Every election is ultimately about people. The Maine Mirror's Meet the Candidates project exists to help Maine voters become more familiar with the individuals seeking public office across our state.
Every featured candidate is offered the same opportunity to share their background, provide official campaign resources, answer five standard questions, and request factual corrections or updates. Our goal is not to tell you who to support, but to make it easier for voters to connect directly with the people asking to represent them.
We believe informed communities are stronger communities, and that respectful civic engagement begins with understanding one another.
