ROCKLAND, Maine — As Maine’s 2026 election season continues, The Maine Mirror is highlighting candidates from across the political spectrum to help voters learn more about the people seeking public office. This installment features Nicole Kalloch, the Unenrolled candidate for Maine State Senate District 12.

The purpose of the Candidate Spotlight series is to provide voters with factual, accessible information about the individuals asking to represent their communities. About Nicole Kalloch

Nicole Kalloch is a Rockland resident who currently serves on the Rockland City Council. A graduate of Maine Maritime Academy, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business and Logistics in 2010. According to her official City of Rockland biography, she has spent her professional career in manufacturing and operations leadership, beginning with IntriCon Tibbetts in 2011 before advancing into leadership roles overseeing the company’s Maine operations. She also served as Mayor of Rockland during the 2023–2024 municipal year. 2026 Campaign

Nicole Kalloch is running as an Unenrolled candidate for Maine State Senate District 12, which encompasses communities throughout Knox County, including Camden, Rockland, Rockport, Thomaston, Warren, Union, Hope, Owls Head, Cushing, South Thomaston, St. George, Vinalhaven, North Haven, Appleton, Friendship, Matinicus Isle Plantation, and surrounding unorganized territories.

At the time of publication, The Maine Mirror was unable to locate an official campaign website outlining Kalloch’s policy platform. This profile will be updated if additional campaign materials become available.

Public Service

In addition to her Senate campaign, Kalloch serves on the Rockland City Council, where she has participated in decisions involving municipal budgeting, infrastructure, zoning, economic development, appointments, and other local government matters. She previously served as Mayor of Rockland after being selected by her fellow councilors.
