Campaign Themes
Harriman’s campaign materials emphasize affordability for working families and retirees, access to affordable housing, public education, health care, workforce development, job creation and community safety. Much of this language appears through statements from supporters published on his campaign website, so these themes are best understood as priorities highlighted by his campaign and its endorsers rather than as a formally numbered platform.
His campaign presents him as a candidate focused on practical problem-solving, steady leadership and addressing long-term challenges affecting Lewiston residents.
Community Service
Before entering the Maine House, Harriman developed experience through municipal government and local committee work. His documented involvement has included housing, shelter policy, public transportation, pedestrian and street planning, public art and education through his role as the City Council’s representative to the School Committee.
His current City Council term began in January 2026, when he was sworn in again as Lewiston’s Ward 3 councilor for the 2026–2028 term.
